Cesson-Sévigné is a French town located in the Ille-etVilaine department, in the Brittany region.
Its population rose to 15,627 in 2007.

Since 2009, the Town of Cesson-Sévigné has funded a decentralised cooperation scheme with the rural community of Dankassari in Niger.

Educational and cultural projects as well as various related activities are regularly organized there by AESCD.
