Lougou and Saraouniya

Published jointly by Tarbiyya Tatali and L’Harmattan, the revised and completed second issue of the book “Lougou and Sarayouniya’ is now on sale for 19 euros. It can be ordered and sent by post. The proceeds of the sale are entirely devoted to development actions in the Lougou Community.

Chronicle of the Kwanana

Published jointly by Tarbiyya Tatali and l’Harmattan, this work by Dangadalima Issa-Danni Soumana, based on oral tradition, presents the history of a community, the kwanana in the Dogondouchi area in Niger.
The book costs 19 euros.

First pupils of the Mission School in Dogondoutchi

Based on the research made in 2008 by Antoine de Leocour during his solidarity internship with Tarbbiya Tatali in Niamey in 2008, this brochure deals with the testimonies of first pupils of the White Fathers’ Mission School in Dogondoutchi.
Its cost is 5 euros, it can be sent by post.

Book of folk tales “Once Upon a Time in Niger”

The book of tales ‘Once Upon a Time in Niger’ is available, costing 5 euros. It can be sent by post. The profits from the sales are entirely devoted to operations in favour of Niger.

Our first book of tales, ‘At School with Nigerien Tales ‘ is now out of print.

Folk-tale cards

Fifteen different Season’s Greetings cards have been published to mark the publication of the book ’Once Upon a Time in Niger’. Each card shows a photo of Abdoul Aziz Soumaïla, taken at the homes of Kande or Issa, the storytellers. They are on sale for 1E each. . The whole collection can be sent by post for 15 euros.

Nine other Season’s Greetings cards, related to the book ’At School with Nigerien Tales’, are also available. They show photos taken by Alain Roux and are priced 1 E each.

Postcards and posters

A set of black and white pictures taken by Alain Roux and called «children of Niger» is available for sale. A set of nine pictures is sold for eight euros and two sizes are available (postcard or poster)
A set of color pictures taken by Alain Roux and called « daily life in Niger » is available for sale. A set of ten pictures is sold for eight euros and two sizes are available (postcard or poster)

Donations and membership fees entail an income tax deduction the following year.
