The Nigeriens of Rennes

A few Nigeriens have always been active members of the association. Some Nigeriens live in Rennes and others spend a few years in Rennes. A few Nigerien students come and do advanced study at Rennes university (medicine, master or a thesis). They are welcome and invited in the local families and can join the association if they are willing to.

A Nigerien is the vice president of Tarbiyya Tatali, a few Nigeriens are members of the board and several are active members of the association..

The Nigeriens of Rennes help the French population to get a better knowledge of Niger and the members to select the most appropriate actions, taking into account the cultural differences. Their contribution is highly appreciated and quite effective.

Wherever they are – in Rennes or back in Niger – they feel involved and contribute to reinforce the association.
