As a follow up to meetings and thanks to a donation, Tarbiyya Tatali made the decision to hire and pay a woman doctor for the integrated health center of Dogon Doutchi in January 2004.She got a permanent contract with the State in September 2005.
Doctor Seiyaba
She has worked in Dogon Doutchi and has been in charge of our Mother and Child Health Care project from 2004 to 2011.
In 2004, the International Solidarity Association at the University of Santander equipped her surgery in the integrated health center with air-conditioning and a refrigerator. The Nigerien State confirmed her appointment in September 2005.
In May 2008, she became the director of the Dogon Doutchi Hospital and Deputy Head Doctor of the Dogon Doutchi sanitary district.
As from October 2011 she has been given the benefit of a 21-month training session on Population and Health in Burkina Faso.
Doctor Aissa
The young unemployed doctor had impressed Doctor Seiyaba during her internship at the Hospital of Dogondoutchi, and was engaged by Raedd in December 2010, thanks to an aid from AECIN and Fredie la vie au Niger. As a matter of fact, the hospital doctors at Dogondoutchi were taken up by administrative tasks and could not find time to deal with surgery consultations.
Since October 2011 she has been in charge of our Mother and Child Health programme.
She got a civil servant position and was confirmed in her post by the State authorities in May 2012. She left Dogondoutchi in 2017
