When women restore soils

Tarbiyya Tatali met most of the women of this group “Niya dakokari” for the first time in September 2003 at Wasadahatchi.
A women’s group called “Niya dakokari” took the initiative of reclaiming land on hills to grow gums Arabic, jujubes and peanuts. The women of Wassadahatchi did it without any assistance.

Microcredit

A micro loan was allocated to encourage and dynamise this group and to give them the opportunity to develop various economic activities such as the manufacturing of oil and small businesses. Aide and Action supplied a peanut-shelling machine.
