Teaching standard problems

Primary and secondary education is growing fast quantitatively but not qualitatively. Most teachers are on contract and have never been trained.

Training Sessions

The Dankassari rural commune, for example, now has over 100 primary schools and some 10 secondary schools.
Within the ‘Progressing toward the Sustainable Development Goals in Dankassari villages’, the project includes three training sessions for 25 persons over 5 days on teaching methods and strengthening knowledge in French and mathematics.

AECIN itself schedules similar training sessions in the Dogondoutchi department.
